We see above the rescue operation last August 27, 2011 brought about by typhoon "Mina" (though it did not directly hit our Province) conducted by our Local Government of Manaoag, spearheaded by our wonderful Mayor Napoleon Sales and Vice Mayor Kim Amador, with the ever ready to lend a helping hand utility workers of Manaoag.
Every time it rains relentlessly, the barangays of Ma-Tolong and Lelemaan are the first monitored group by our Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction team as they are most interior and nearest the Aloragat River, one of the rivers surrounding the town of Manaoag that is easily flooded. Along with the Manaoag Utility Workers are the 54thEngineering Brigade Personnel of Camp Tito Abat and the Bureau of Fire Marshalls who readily helped in the rescue operation with their trucks and knowledge and training to in handling such disasters.
